Abstract
Sigurnost korisnika pri korištenju interneta vrlo je značajno područje zbog sve češćih zlouporaba radi stjecanja imovinske koristi. Zbog toga, vlasnici informacijskih sustava moraju zapošljavati vrhunske informatičare koji pronalaze slabosti u sustavu i rješavaju ih. Takve probleme rješavaju tzv. etični hakeri koji rade isto kao hakeri, ali na zakonit način. Postupak takvog ispitivanja informacijskog sustava naziva se penetracijsko testiranje. Za provođenje postupka penetracijskog testiranja napravljeno je više različitih alata. BEEF je jedan od tih alata. BEEF (eng. The Browser Exploitation Framework) je alat koji daje nove mogućnosti za testiranje penetracije i koji je usmjeren prema iskorištavanju ranjivosti u web preglednicima. BEEF alat omogućuje vrhunskim stručnjacima otkrivanje sigurnosnog položaja ciljnog okruženja.
Abstract (english)
The security of users when using the Internet is a very important area due to increasingly frequent abuses for the purpose of acquiring financial benefits. Because of this, the owners of business systems must employ top computer scientists who can find weaknesses in the system and patch them. Such problems are solved by the so-called Ethical hackers who do the same as hackers, but in a legal way. The procedure of such testing of the business system is called Penetration Testing. A number of different tools are used to perform the penetration testing process. One of them is BEEF. BEEF (The Browser Exploitation Framework) is a tool that provides new possibilities for penetration testing and it focuses at exploiting vulnerabilities present in web browsers. The BEEF tool allows top experts to discover the security posture of a target environment.
